At Finesse Detailing UK we sometimes get asked the same questions. Have a look to see if your question has already been answered below...

I live in a flat and don’t have access to water and electricity, is this a problem?

Not at all! Our vans carry their own water and electricity supply on board. Not only does this save you time in preparing for our arrival but also saves money on your bills.

Do you have any restrictions on where you can valet my car?

We do have several restrictions for staff safety and insurance purposes when working on customers cars. We will not valet a vehicle which is parked on the side of a road or if it is on a council-owned car park. We are not allowed to work on site at airfields either. Some places will require permission to be granted before we arrive and it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure this is in place before we arrive. We will not be held responsible for any fines, clamps, tow charges or parking fees if these were to occur and you will need to reimburse us of these charges if permission is not granted.  Apart from this we can work on your car at home or your place of work, whichever is easier for you.

I have got some nasty scuffs on my front bumper, could you polish this out?

Unfortunately it is unlikely that a scuff will fully polish out. Usually if the scratch/scuff catches on your fingernail that is a sign that it will be too deep to polish out, however our sister company specialise in scuff damage, dent removal etc who we can put you in touch with and will look after you.

How long does a valet take?

Valets can take anywhere between 1 hour and 6 hours depending on which package you choose when booking. Some vehicles may need extra attention and time however we will keep you updated throughout the duration of working on your vehicle.

Are you insured?

Finnesse Detailing UK has public liability and service indemnity insurance up to £5 million. This gives our customers peace of mind.

How can I pay you?

You are more than welcome to pay cash on the day of your valet or alternatively you can find our bank details on your invoice. Sorry, we no longer accept cheques.

Do you have a location barrier?

We are proud not to restrict ourselves for work. We normally cover a 30 mile radius of Alton, Hampshire GU34 however, we are more than happy to attend jobs outside of this area. All we ask is for a 25% deposit 7 days prior to the work being carried out.

Do you offer any group discounts?

Everyone loves a deal...including us! We welcome group bookings and are happy to discuss quotes based on your requirements.

Do you carry out your Paint Enhancements on driveways?

Unfortunately not. Winter Protection Details are usually ok for driveway work however as we require your vehicle for a few days when performing a Paint Enhancement, the work must be carried out in a secure unit. This also enables us to work in a dust free environment with the correct lighting and temperature.

It is forecast to rain this weekend when my car is booked in. Does this mean I will have to cancel my booking?

Unfortunately our work is weather permitting at this moment in time however, we will soon be having an awning fitted to the side of our van and we will then be able to carry out jobs in any weather. Let’s take a view on it on the morning of your booking and if the weather still doesn’t look good we can rearrange this for you.

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

Finesse Detailing UK is not VAT registered therefore our prices are not inclusive of VAT.
